Spent Xmas at a hotel in this location with my family. Loved the clean and spacious rooms, well-equipped gym and refreshing pool. the hotel is located near some great local restaurants and attractions that kept us entertained.
The hotel did not welcome families with children under two years, which was a major inconvenience for us. the check-in process was slow, and there were some hidden charges which were frustrating.

The hotel has beautiful decorations and elegant furniture, making it look expensive. Guests can enjoy tasty food served in a vast and varied menu at the dining facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is available, although some guests had difficulty finding a space.
Access to certain areas, such as the exercise room and restaurant, is odd.

Great location in the city, offering beautiful views of the water and easy access to attractions. The weekend special with free afternoon tea/coffee and dinner, along with the always included breakfast, was a nice bonus and added value to the stay. the beds were very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were kept clean and tidy.
The check-in and check-out process was lengthy and cumbersome, taking at least 15 minutes each. the requirement for a deposit, even for a pre-booked room, was frustrating.
